CO₂ Laser Surgery for Warts and Benign Skin Growths
Discreet assessment and precise surgical CO₂ laser removal of selected genital warts and other benign skin growths.

About the treatment
At Kampala Dermatology, we use a surgical CO₂ laser to precisely remove selected skin lesions. A key use is the treatment of genital warts. We also treat common warts, skin tags and other benign growths after a dermatologist has assessed them.
The CO₂ laser removes targeted tissue while limiting treatment to the area that needs it. For genital warts, it can be particularly useful when warts are numerous, extensive or have not responded to other treatments. We assess each patient privately and recommend the most suitable option for the number, size and location of their warts.
Important to know
CO₂ laser treatment can remove visible warts, but warts can recur; it does not guarantee elimination of HPV. Growths with an uncertain diagnosis may need a biopsy or another method of removal so tissue can be examined.
