Our story
Why this clinic exists
For years, Ugandans with serious skin concerns faced the same choice: long waits and short answers, or expensive trips abroad for specialist care. Skin disease carries real weight, it affects how you work, socialise, and how you feel walking out of your gate.
Kampala Dermatology exists to close that gap. One place where acne, melasma, eczema and a changing mole all get the same thing: a proper dermatological assessment and a plan explained in plain language, extended daily through doctor-curated skincare kits ordered on WhatsApp.

Meet Dr Ronald Katureebe
Dr Ronald Katureebe brings over 20 years of medical experience, including more than 13 years in dermatology. His qualifications:
- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, Makerere University, Uganda
- Postgraduate Diploma in Dermatology, Cardiff University, United Kingdom
- Master’s degree in Dermatology, University of Hertfordshire, United Kingdom
He founded Kampala Dermatology Clinic in 2018 and has a special interest in pediatric dermatology and eczema, alongside extensive experience in medical dermatology, acne, pigmentation, hair and scalp disorders, and cosmetic and laser treatments.
His approach combines specialist dermatology expertise with the broader, holistic perspective gained from his earlier years in general medical practice.
