Moles & Skin Cancer Screening

Also known as: mole checks, changing moles

A changing mole deserves a professional eye, full checks, dermoscopy, safe removal.

The short version

Most moles stay harmless. But a mole that is new, changing, itching or bleeding, or any sore that will not heal, deserves a professional look.

On deeper skin, melanoma often hides on palms, soles and under nails. We examine the whole body with dermatoscopy and remove anything suspicious.

What it can look and feel like

Why it happens

  • Cumulative sun exposure
  • Genetics and family history
  • Weakened immunity
  • Every skin tone can be affected

How we treat it

  • Full-body mole checks with dermatoscopy
  • Safe, complete surgical removal
  • Biopsy and lab testing
  • Follow-up for atypical moles
